Construction: It uses a MAX Core profile with a stiff thigh and softer boot to create a wide butterfly shape, similar to the Optik 4 Pad face: The X4also has a flat, laceless face and a streamlined outer roll. Sliding surface: The Primo sliding edge is included for elite-level sliding performance. Strapping: It features the Smart Cord toe system and a Smart Boot strap. The adjustable 3-point calf wrap allows goalies to fine-tune pad rotation. Knee: A dual-option knee strap and removable knee flap give goalies the ability to customize their setup. An integrated attachment point for a Pro 2 knee pad is also available. Toe taper: The pad has an 80° toe taper.
